# Build a workspace from a sentence

A workspace (loop) is a board of steps joined by pipes. Leads flow through it: found, enriched, researched, written to, held at Approve, then on to replies and calls.

1. `list_step_kinds` once: every kind, what it does, its credits per item, and which write to people (`writesToPeople`).
2. Turn the person's sentence into a chain and build it in one call:

`create_loop {"name": "UK fintech founders", "steps": ["signals", "enrich", "research", "coldemail", "approve", "replies", "call"]}`

3. Put `approve` right after the steps that write to people (coldemail, linkedin, followup, booking). Their drafts wait there for an Admin's yes, and what comes after Approve only gets approved items.
4. Read the answer. A `warning` names the exact `add_step` or `connect_steps` call that fixes the board: make it.
5. Leave it in draft. Going live (`set_loop_status` live, or `update_loop`) runs steps every day and spends credits: ask the person first.

Changing a board: `add_step` (`after` and `into` take a step's id, title or kind), `connect_steps`, `disconnect_steps`, `remove_steps`, `update_loop` to rename. `get_loop` describes a workspace in one call: steps in order, pipes, leads by stage, drafts waiting, spend, and why it can't go live.

`plan_limit` on create means the team is at its workspace limit: pass the upgrade link to the person.

Examples of sentences and chains:

- "Book calls from warm replies": replies, booking, approve, call
- "Find seed-stage founders and send a short intro": signals, enrich, research, coldemail, approve, replies
- "Work through the list I uploaded": list, enrich, coldemail, approve, followup, approve
